Quick Start

Short answer: install FeedBack Desktop, choose your audio input, add a song, tune, and press Play.

Before You Start

  • A guitar or bass.
  • Headphones or speakers.
  • An audio input: microphone, USB cable, audio interface, or desktop bridge input.
  • At least one FeedBack song file.

Steps

  1. Install and open FeedBack Desktop.
  2. Complete the first-run audio setup.
  3. Add a song from the Songs screen.
  4. If the library does not update, run a scan or rescan.
  5. Open the tuner and tune to the current song.
  6. Select a song card and choose an arrangement.
  7. Press Play.
  8. After the song, review your result and accuracy.

What You Should See

  • The Songs screen shows at least one song card.
  • The audio input page shows the selected microphone or interface.
  • The tuner moves when you pluck a string.
  • The note highway or selected view loads when you play a song.

Common Problems

Problem Try This
No songs appear See Scan and Rescan.
FeedBack hears the wrong mic See Audio Input Problems.
Tuner does not move Confirm the selected input and channel.
Calibration hangs See Calibration Problems.
